Letter from the Executive Director
Anne Tuccillo
September 2025
As summer winds down and the crisp air of fall begins to settle in, many see this season as a time to slow down and reset. But here at Pawfectly Delicious, our ovens stayed hot and our hearts even warmer. While others were soaking up the sun, our dedicated team was hard at work baking, packaging, and fulfilling orders with the same care and joy that defines everything we do.
This summer was anything but quiet. Thanks to the unwavering commitment of our team, we met growing demand with grace and grit—ensuring that every treat delivered was not only delicious but made with purpose. We’re especially proud to share that we’ve seen a notable increase in orders from hotels across the country who want to support our mission. In July and August alone, our team baked, packaged, and shipped over 500 custom dog treat packages to hotels spanning from Rhode Island to Hawaii.
Our mission to create meaningful work opportunities for adults with disabilities continues to thrive, and this season was a shining example of that impact in action.
Now, as we turn the page to fall, we’re gearing up for a season full of community events, holiday markets, and opportunities to connect with our supporters in person. Please see the calendar of upcoming events here. These moments allow our team to shine—not just behind the scenes, but out in the community, sharing their talents and stories with pride.
We’re also thrilled to celebrate a special milestone: Ginny and Henry, two of our summer interns, officially joined our paid team in September! Their transition marks a meaningful step in their journey, and we couldn’t be prouder to welcome them into their new roles. Their contributions have already made a lasting impact, and we’re excited to see them continue to grow. We also welcome two new interns who will work with us during the fall, Liam and Beth. We are excited to provide each of them with the opportunity to learn new job skills and to determine if Pawfectly Delicious is the right fit for them.
As we prepare for the busy months ahead, we remain grounded in gratitude—for our team, our community, and the shared belief that work can be both joyful and transformative. Thank you for being part of our journey. We can’t wait to see what this season brings.
With gratitude,
Anne
