Letter from the Executive Director
Anne Tuccillo
April 2026
Hello friends,
What an April it has been. Our team has been everywhere this month—at community events, farmers markets, and spring festivals, and my heart is full seeing our employees shine out in the world. Every time I watch them greet customers, share our story, earn additional wages, and proudly represent Pawfectly Delicious, I’m reminded why our mission matters so deeply.
These events aren’t just sales opportunities. They’re moments of connection. Moments where our employees are seen, valued, and celebrated by the dog‑loving community and the greater community at large. And every fist bump, every smile, every “my dog loves your treats!” reinforces the dignity of work and the joy of belonging that we strive to create every single day.
As we wrap up this wonderfully busy month, we’re already gearing up for an exciting May. You can always find our full schedule of markets, pop‑ups, and community appearances on our Events Page: https://pawfectlydelicious.org/events
And of course, the granddaddy of them all is right around the corner: Paws & Pours on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 2–5 pm at Fort Hunt Park. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you. Expect an afternoon filled with great food and drink, music, dogs, community, dog activities and an awesome silent auction. Every dollar raised supports our employees’ wages, wellness programs, enrichment activities, and the supportive environment that helps them thrive.
Tickets are now available, and we would love for you to join us: Pawfectly Delicious – 3rd Annual Paws & Pours Fundraiser Event (Presented by Pawfectly Delicious Dog Treats)
Thank you for cheering us on, showing up at events, and believing in the power of meaningful work. We feel your support every step of the way, and it makes all the difference.
I hope to see you at an upcoming event,
Anne
