Letter from the Executive Director
Anne Tuccillo
June 2026
Hello friends,
June has flown by in a blur of excitement, gratitude, and, if I’m honest, a few much‑needed nights of deep sleep now that the whirlwind has settled. After catching my breath, I’ve had time to reflect on what an extraordinary month this has been for Pawfectly Delicious.
To everyone who made our 3rd Annual Paws & Pours fundraiser such a tremendous success, our generous sponsors and donors, our dedicated vendors, our loyal supporters, our incredible volunteers, and of course the pups and their wonderful humans, thank you. Your presence, your energy, and your belief in our mission created a day we will never forget.
I am thrilled to share that this year’s event was our most successful yet, raising nearly $22,000 (or $21,957 for those who appreciate precision). This achievement is a testament to what happens when a community shows up with heart and purpose. Events like this do not magically come together. They take months of planning, countless conversations, and a whole lot of pounding the pavement for sponsorships, donations, and in‑kind support. Every person who contributed, whether through time, talent, or resources, played a meaningful role in making this day possible.
We were also incredibly fortunate to welcome back our Event Ambassador, Steve Rudin, for his third year. Steve brings such warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine joy to Paws & Pours, and once again he kept the weather just “pawfect” for the celebration. We are so grateful for his continued support and the light he brings to our mission.
Every dollar raised directly supports our current team of employees, strengthens our inclusive work environment, expands our employee wellness programs, and, most importantly, helps us grow. These funds will play a vital role in our efforts to expand our team and secure dedicated office space for our administrative, inventory management, and fulfillment operations. This is a major step forward for our organization, and it is only possible because of you.
A special and deeply heartfelt thank you go to our phenomenal fundraising committee, led by Darcy Kohn, our Community Outreach and Marketing Team Lead. Darcy, along with Board members Holly Langer‑Evans and Janet Covey, poured countless hours, ideas, and sheer determination into planning and executing this event. Their leadership and commitment were the backbone of Paws and Pours, and we are profoundly grateful.
As we celebrate this year’s success, we are already dreaming bigger. We are committed to building on this momentum and promise that next year’s Paws & Pours will be even bigger, even better, and even more impactful.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in our mission, for lifting our employees, and for helping us create a community where everyone belongs and everyone contributes.
Anne
